6TH-8TH GRADE PROGRAM

Courses filled with clear, vibrant lessons build on the foundation laid during your child's elementary years and effectively prepare them for high school. Skills-based math and English classes help develop reasoning skills, while textbook exercises ensure long-term mastery of each concept. Your child's interest will be captivated as they discover the overall picture of God's purpose and plan in history. Classroom labs and invigorating discussions about life science bring the world to life. In Bible class, they will learn how to practically apply God's Word to their life through studying select books from the Old and New Testament. Electives, leadership, and PE complete the program.

SCHEDULE

6th-12th grades utilize a period system. Learners switch classes and instructors throughout the day. This allows our instructors to specialize in academic areas and allows the learners to move environments. Every learner receives an individual schedule.

Homeroom/Bible: 8:35-9:00 AM

1st Period: 9:00-9:45 AM

Morning Break: 9:45-9:55 AM

2nd Period: 9:55-10:40 AM

3rd Period: 10:40-11:25 AM

4th Period: 11:25:12:10 PM

Lunch: 12:10-12:30 PM

5th Period: 12:30-1:15 PM

6th Period: 1:15-2:00 PM

7th Period: 2:00-2:30 PM

8th Period: 2:30-3:00 PM

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

The mission of our physical education program is to instill a love of regular physical activity in our learners and motivate them to take responsibility for their lifelong health. As learners participate in a wide range of games and activities, they develop their motor skills and a sense of fair play.

BIBLE

Because of daily Bible instruction and use of a Christian curriculum, learners will be able to apply biblical truths from God’s Word to their own lives, demonstrate knowledge of the doctrines of the Bible, and choose prayer and memorizing Scripture to grow in their faith.
