Hi! My name is Cheryl Downey. I have been happily married for 31 years and have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. My kids were born and raised in Paradise and attended Children’s Community Charter School and Paradise High School. Being a stay-at-home mom, I was very involved in their education. I’ve been working with children in one capacity or another for the last 25 yrs. I have a bachelor’s in Child Development and a master’s in Early Childhood Education and have worked in both a teaching and administrative capacity. My experience includes working with federal Head Start programs, corporate programs, private programs, and non-profit organizations.

My husband and I have a small homestead that keeps us busy! We have 10 chickens, 2 cats, a dog and a beautiful, raised garden area where we grow lots of herbs, veggies, and flowers!! Working in the garden reminds me of how amazing God is!!! We love the Lord with all our hearts and love spending time with our family, loved ones and our beautiful grandson who just turned one!

My name is Tyler Diamond. I am a follower of Christ, husband, father, professional athlete, & entrepreneur. I'm originally from Oroville, but my wife & I's main goal was to raise our children in a place that truly felt like home, so we proudly built our first home in Paradise. I thoroughly enjoy having a full schedule which includes training full-time in Sacramento, running my Meal Prep Company that serves hundreds of customers in Butte County while ensuring my family gets their fair share of me being Dad.

I grew up wrestling & the sport took me all over the country. I graduated from North Dakota State in 2014 with a degree in Social Science/Minor in Criminal Justice. I then transitioned to training & fighting MMA full-time. I'm currently completing the closing chapters of my MMA career.

With the little bit of free time I have, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching my children learn and grow, being able to provide organic, lean meat through hunting & being around friends that think big like myself.

There's nothing more important on this earth than the gift of children, which is why my main goal is to ensure that mine and others in my community can get the right education to navigate our quickly evolving world.

Hello, my name is Kiara Diamond! I choose to live a Christ-centered life while being the best wife & mother I can possibly be. That is & forever will be what's most important to me. I have a three year old little boy named Ace & a one year old little girl named Remi. I was born & raised in Paradise & am elated to still call this special little town my home. I appreciate a simpler lifestyle and have realized that life isn’t about money or material things, but about family and the memories you make.

I have my bachelor’s in Kinesiology with an emphasis in physical education from CSU Chico. Since graduating, I've had the opportunity to work at various schools in the area & am currently a K-8 Physical Education teacher at a local school. Although, my husband and I have made a big decision, and I will not be returning next school year. I look forward to being home with my beautiful babies, taking care of my family, and focusing on this project.

I want to get back to the basics - God, Family & creating a strong community that thrives & looks out for one another.
