MEET TEAM LIBERTY

Hi! My name is Cheryl Downey. I have been happily married for 31 years and have 3 grown children and 3 grandchildren. My kids were born and raised in Paradise and attended Children’s Community Charter School and Paradise High School. Being a stay-at-home mom, I was very involved in their education. I’ve been working with children in one capacity or another for the last 25 yrs. I have a bachelor’s in Child Development and a master’s in Early Childhood Education and have worked in both a teaching and administrative capacity. My experience includes working with federal Head Start programs, corporate programs, private programs, and non-profit organizations. 

My husband and I have a small homestead that keeps us busy! We have 10 chickens, 2 cats, a dog and a beautiful, raised garden area where we grow lots of herbs, veggies, and flowers!! Working in the garden reminds me of how amazing God is!!! We love the Lord with all our hearts and love spending time with our family, loved ones and our beautiful grandson who just turned one!
